Horiuchi Ballet Scholarship Program
Artistic Director Gen Horiuchi offers a partial-scholarship program for Level 7 and Level 8 students. If a student enrolls for four (4) times or more a week, she/he would be eligible to apply for a Tuition Discounted Scholarship. Level 7 chosen students would receive 20 % off regular tuition rates and Level 8 would receive 40% off regular tuition rates. Pointe Class fees would be waived as well.
How it helps?
The scholarship program is for St. Louis Ballet School students who are serious about their dance education but whose families may not be able to afford full tuition for the amount of classes they want and need to take. Students permitted into the program are given rate decreases for monthly dance tuition and are given extra performance and study opportunites that they are responsible in completing for that school year.

- Requirements
Eligible Students: Level 7 and 8 Students.
- Must register four (4) ballet classes or more a week plus 2 pointe classes exclusively with SLBS
- Must participate in all company productions and recitals.
- To register at least two (2) weeks in the summer program
- The students' parents / family must participate in volunteer opportunities involved the school and company such as backstage / lobby volunteers or other fundraising event committee
- Required to participate in the following events:
- "The Nutcracker"
