THE CONVENIENCE AND ASSURANCE OF QUALITY DANCE AND MUSIC IN ONE PLACE

Music Program Overview
As a dance school we feel it is important that students be exposed to music as well as movement since it is the music that we move to. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to create that music that we move to? To be able to play an instrument makes a child more well rounded in their artistic education and in life. Music appreciation is equally important as dance appreciation and together they make up art appreciation.

Music Lesson Types:
Classical Piano, Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone
Saint Louis Ballet School will concentrate mostly on the piano in the classical style; however, we will introduce other instruments as there is a demand for them because our instructors are capable of teaching more than just one instrument.

"I took piano lessons for many years beginning at a young age and still enjoy playing casually at home. Obviously, as a dancer and a choreographer the skill of counting rhythms and understanding music has really helped me, however, even in my everyday life I have a huge respect for classical music and rhythms and am so grateful of having learned how to play an instrument like the piano. I am so excited about this music program we are able to offer and look forward to hearing the students at Saint Louis Ballet School gain this skill."
~Gen Horiuchi, School Director
